Victoria’s Secret Angel Credit Card RewardsPosted on February 14, 2012 by Amy in Rewards
Victoria’s Secret offers some of the most stylish lingerie around but instead of waiting for sales to get a bargain, people can save even more with an Angel credit card.
This store-based credit card is underwritten by World Financial Network Bank and gives cardholders a wide range of benefits at Victoria’s Secret stores.
New cardholders are treated to six months of exclusive offers worth up to $100 to kick-start their Angel experience. They also get:
- Early access to sales, special offers and new items
- A surprise birthday gift every year; and
- Enrolment in a point-based rewards program
Unlike other rewards options, which typically earn a fixed amount of points for every dollar spent, the Victoria’s Secret Angel card earns points based on the items purchased.
Every item is worth a different amount of points, and once cardholders have 250 points they earn a $10 reward.
The first 250 points also gives people the opportunity to upgrade to VIP Angel status for even more extras, like double points for all bra purchases (including sale items), free beauty samples and makeovers at Angel VIP events and invitation-only access to Victoria’s Secret events.
These rewards are ideal for people who regularly shop at Victoria’s Secret, giving them an exclusive payment option that can also help increase their overall credit score.
In terms of standard credit card features, the Angel card comes with a variable APR of 24.99% but has no annual fee so people could be a cost-free convenience if the balance is regularly paid off in full.
Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Rewards
The Sexy Little Rewards program is designed to reward loyal customers and Angel cardholders with gifts from the Satin and Silk Series, with more benefits going to the Angels.
People signed up to the program earn a standard 10 points for every dollar spent, with 1250 points earning a Satin Series reward and 1750 points a Silk Series item. Every six months the points will expire, so it may not be beneficial for anyone.
Angel cardholders, on the other hand, earn 12 points for every dollar spent, which never expire, so they can get even more rewards by enrolling in Sexy Little Rewards.
There are a lot of store credit cards people can apply for and many of them have tempting benefits. Getting a card like the Victoria’s Secret Angel means that when you go shopping, the rewards could keep on coming.
